Turtle, Turtle

On our way home the other day, Scott seen a turtle on the road.

Guess what he did?

You can obviously see that he stopped to move it off the road but he of course had to show Matthew first.

Matthew just sat and looked at it.

Turtles are rather colorful!

Ever heard of Turtle races before?

Every week during a period during the summer, a town not to far from us has turtle races!

Looks pretty fun!  Matthew and I may just have to check it out this year!

4 wheeling with his Papa

On Wednesdays, Matthew gets to spent time with his Papa and Grammie.

His Papa loves every minute of it.

They spoil him lots!

4 wheeling is one of their favorite things to do!

Matthew even knows how to start the 4 wheeler!

They go up and down the driveway and all around the trails on their land.

Sometimes they go for 4 wheeler rides and tractor rides too!

Now that the mosquitoes are out, they use the 4 wheeler because they can go faster! Hahaha!

Helping Mommy

Matthew got to help Mommy wash the dishes.  We ended up with water everywhere but how else will he ever learn.  He had more fun taking the soapy water out of my sink and pouring it on the clean dishes.

He enjoyed every minute!

Graduation

It was awesome to watch graduation last night as both of Matthew's birthparents received their diplomas.

Sebastian

Adie

During graduation, they presented roses to their parents.

Adie also gave one to Matthew.

Giving Sebastian a kiss after he presented his rose to his mom.

His rose from Adie kept him entertained for a little bit.

Then it became his sword and the stem broke in several places.

Shortly after the stems were broken, they began to fly around (even getting the people behind us).

Adie and Sebastian were even nice enough to stand by each other so we could get a picture of them with Matthew.

Open adoption is amazing!

We are so glad to have both of these wonderful people and their families in our lives.

Chewing Gum

Last night at graduation, we were trying everything to keep Matthew somewhat quiet.

We even tried gum!

He loved it but then it got to the point where he just wanted to play with it.

Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

I can see the fingerprints of God

I can see the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?

Every time that I look at Matthew I am reminded of how blessed that we are and how much he has changed our lives.

We are very excited to celebrate tonight the graduation of two very important people who helped change  our lives with this wonderful blessing of our son, Matthew.

Congratulations Adie and Sebastian on your high school graduation!

The Beach

We spent a few hours at the beach today with Aunt K, Emma and Levi.

We had lots of fun!

Always Helping Daddy

Helping Daddy put together a cabinet so I can finish unpacking!

Monday's Visitors

Our Monday while Emma was in school, Kyra and Levi came to visit.
