10 months Old

Hello! Sorry I haven't posted for a few days but life is crazy this week. I volunteered to help out with Vacation Bible School (Crocodile Dock) at our church this week. Matthew has been spending a few hours each day this week with Papa while I volunteer at VBS. Today I was trying to get him to wave good bye to me while Papa was holding him and all he would do was smile. He LOVES his Papa!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On another note: Can you believe that Matthew is already 10 months old today? It is hard to believe. It seems like he was born just a few days ago. Time sure goes by fast.

10 things that Matthew is doing now:

~ Always wants to feed himself

~ Pulls himself up

~ Walks around furniture

~ Has a temper

~ Has temper tantrums already (He stiffens out and screams)

~ Sleeps thru the night

~ Stands up in his crib

~ Crawls fast

~ Plays in his swimming pool (and LOVES it)

~ Loves beings outside (We almost have grass/yard for him to play in-I will post pictures soon)

On the Move Videos

It is hard to believe that in just a week Matthew has learned to do an actual crawl, pull himself up and walk along furniture. It is exciting to see him do and learn so many new things but at the same time I am sad that he is growing way to fast. It seems like he was born just yesterday but he is almost 9 1/2 months old.

This is just to cute not to share with everyone! He got all the way across our living room today! As you can see all the toys are picked up (I did that while he was napping) but as soon as I turned off the camera he tipped over the basket! He is definitely on the move. It will not be long before he is crawling.

Fingerprint Friday

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?

I love how God makes each one of us different! Each with our own mobility and personality. Matthew is covered with God's fingerprints. He is slowly learning how to get what he wants in any way possible. As you can tell, sometimes he is not happy that he can't move faster to get what he wants. He wiggles. He worms. He rolls. We have learned that he is a mover and a shaker. He's an active one!

Short Update

Matthew is finally starting to feel better. We had a long couple of days. Matthew and I slept on the couch a few hours a night a couple nights this week. I felt so bad for him. Last night he actually slept from 10:30 until 6:00 this morning in his crib.

He has started trying to do somewhat of an army crawl to get to what he wants. He went about 3 feet across the living room today but before I had a chance to grab the camera he was were he wanted to be. I have the camera at the ready now so I can catch a movie of him. He also likes to stand up and look around.
