First Time to the Park This Year

We went to the park today!
It was 70 degrees but a bit windy!
As you can see Matthew had a great time especially after Emma joined us.
That slide had fun with Emma's hair!

Tired Toddler

Last night after his shower with Daddy, he fell asleep pretty quickly on our bed.
He was one tired little man.

Life Changes

It sure is amazing how fast our lives changed.
If you follow me on Facebook, you already know our story.
For those of you who don't, let me fill you in.
On Tuesday, March 23 our realtor listed our house.  On Thursday, we had two showings.  On Friday, one of the couples came to look again and made an offer.  On Saturday, we counteroffered and they accepted.  The closing will be on or before May 7th as far as we know now.  We have about a month to pack, find a place to live and move.
Please pray that I can find us a place to live until we find another home to buy.

For Your Viewing Pleasure

I finally had a chance to take a few photos today.  Wow has our life been BUSY!  I think it is only going to get busier here in the next month or so.  More on that another time.

Here are a few pictures for your viewing pleasure!
He was being crazy today!
Finally a good view of all those teeth he has now!
He is actually laughing in this picture!  Usually he loves getting his picture taken but today he was a little shy or maybe it was his sillyness.
See his shirt?  Sorry you can't really see all of the words but it is one of my favorites.  For one it is my favorite color and second, it says Handsome and Huggable!
Hope you enjoyed these few pictures!
I will try to get some more sometime during our crazy busy weekend!

"Snowing"

It was snowing in our basement.
It was little kiddo produced!
And he had a blast!
He stole some styrofoam from some boxes that our lights came in.
Even though it "snowed" and we had to clean up that mess, we are making progress in our basement.

Just a Workin'

Matthew found his little shovel outside today and he was just a working with my planters and dirt!
I am going to have a great big helper when the time comes to plant flowers!

Playing Outside

This is a fun outdoor toy that Matthew got from his Papa and Grammie.
It was all in pieces so Mommy had to figure out how to put it together.
He loved it!!!!!!
I have a feeling that we are going to live outside this summer!
I also think that Mommy is going to have to learn how to drive the Allis Chalmers tractor.
Wow did Matthew get mad at me this morning for not taking him for a ride.

Matthew and Adie

Since it is spring break, Adie and a couple of her sisters came to visit on Monday.
We had lots of fun!

Matthew and Mommy

Working

After our little farm visit, Matthew and Daddy worked around the yard.
The picture below just cracks me up!
`
Looks like he is admiring his work while Daddy keeps on working.

Tractor Ride to A Farm

On Sunday afternoon, Matthew and Scott drove the tractor to the neighbor's small farm while I walked.
Matthew got to see cows.  Lots of cows and lots of pregnant cows.
This poor cow looked miserable when she walked.
Then a drive back home.
Daddy was even teaching Matthew how to steer!
He was pretty good by the time they got home.

Cousins

On Saturday night, our niece, Emma stayed overnight with us.
Matthew and Emma had a fun time in the tub.
Looks like he is screaming.
Could very well be.
It is like he rediscovered his voice again.
She is a cutie!

Sick Baby Oops I mean Toddler

Last week, Matthew was not feeling well.  He had a cold and on top of it all he is working on getting some more teeth which added to the misery.  He had a low-grade fever for a couple of days.
This was taken Wednesday night which was the worse day of it all.  He actually fell asleep on Scott a little at 7 pm.  When I got home from church it was my turn to hold and snuggle him.  As you can see I took a little snooze on the couch too.

Bath Time

Some fun bath time pictures!
Not sure what the surprised face look is for!

Adventures of Painting with an 18 month old

Once again I am sorry that my posts have been few and far between lately.  We are working really hard on finishing our lower level.  Last night we painted two rooms.  You can just imagine how paint and an 18 month old mix.  Scott was cutting in while I was rolling the walls.  Just as I turned to get some more paint, I seen Matthew heading straight for my rolling pan.  I said "STOP" but I was just a millisecond to late.  Down he went right in the paint.  Hands smothered in paint.
Here is the cute picture:
Here is the floor:
Sorry about the blurry pictures.  They were taken with Scott's camera phone.
Oh yay, I forgot to mention, Momma was pretty full of paint by the time we got it all cleaned up.
