Easter 2012 pictures

Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny hid some eggs around are house along with Matthew's Easter basket!

We left the Easter Bunny some crackers and juice!

Our Easter Bunny was messy so hopefully he enjoyed his snacks.

Here is Matthew after he found his basket.

Coloring Easter Eggs

Saturday night, we colored Easter eggs!

 We had to eat a couple too!

 Then he decided that he didn't want me to take any more pictures but I just keep taking them.

We had fun coloring and eating colored eggs.

18 years

It was 18 years ago today that Scott and I started dating!  That is over half of our life!  It has been a wonderful journey so far! 

Easter Bunny

This morning we had an Easter Egg Hunt at our church.

The Easter bunny was there too.

Matthew was a little scared or shy.



Fishing

Yesterday, we had a fun afternoon of fishing!

Matthew has a cute little Spongebob fishing pole.

 He got bored and started playing with the fish with sticks and weeds.

 While he was off playing, I used his little Spongebob pole and this is what I caught.

All the people around us were laughing at me!

We had to throw him back because he is not in season.

I think he likes to fish cuz he gets snacks/treats.

It was a fun day!  We only caught 6 little sunfish that were keepers.  It made a nice little meal for us.

Outdoor Boy

Have you ever watched the TV show: Man vs Wild or Dual Survivor?  Matthew and Scott enjoy watching these shows.  They decided to try to build a fire the way that they do on the show. Matthew was so excited!

They worked and worked!  There was lots of smoke but just couldn't get a fire started.

They did get a fire started another day but I didn't get pictures of that.

Now all Matthew wants to do is have a fire. (and roast hot dogs)

He even talks his Papa into building small fires.
