UPDATE:
The first night without the nukkie went really well. Matthew didn't wake up in the middle of the night crying or anything. He did however wake up really early this morning crying. I let him cry for a few minutes to see if he would fall back asleep. He didn't so he got to come lay with us in our bed for a few minutes.

Hehehehe it was me!
On our way home from town today, Scott and I were talking and trying to keep Matthew awake, when our conversation turned to his nukkies.
We decided today was the day!
When we got home while Matthew was busy as he always is, I snuck into his room and grabbed ALL (like 8) nukkies out of his crib and hid them in my shirt so he couldn't see because I heard him coming.
Shortly after we were home, it was nap time.
We went into his room, grabbed his blanket and starting to rock. He kept saying nukkie. I told him that someone stole them and I put him in his crib to investigate.
He did get a special present though!
I bought some really cute John Deere fleece and made him a single thick tied blanket (since he loves the fleece fringes rubbed on his cheeks). As soon as I was done with it, he grabbed it, put it up to his face and ran off with it snuggled up to him. I will get a picture up as some as I get one taken.
We also bought a bookshelf unit for Matthew's room for all his books.
It was pretty late by the time we got that put together and all his things organized and he was one tired little boy. So far so good. I will post when we wake up to tell you how the first no nuk night went.

I can't wait to hear how the night went! It may take about three days for him to adjust. His poor little rashy face will thank you!
Yeah! It's a good start!
Jada is so addicted to her nookie. I'm not sure what to do. The cat came out of her room the other day with one in his mouth and he keeps chewing them all up. Maybe I shouldn't buy anymore. . . we could start a college fund with the money! :0) I hope it goes well--I'll be hitting you up for some pointers in the future!
