10 months Old

Hello! Sorry I haven't posted for a few days but life is crazy this week. I volunteered to help out with Vacation Bible School (Crocodile Dock) at our church this week. Matthew has been spending a few hours each day this week with Papa while I volunteer at VBS. Today I was trying to get him to wave good bye to me while Papa was holding him and all he would do was smile. He LOVES his Papa!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On another note: Can you believe that Matthew is already 10 months old today? It is hard to believe. It seems like he was born just a few days ago. Time sure goes by fast.

10 things that Matthew is doing now:

~ Always wants to feed himself

~ Pulls himself up

~ Walks around furniture

~ Has a temper

~ Has temper tantrums already (He stiffens out and screams)

~ Sleeps thru the night

~ Stands up in his crib

~ Crawls fast

~ Plays in his swimming pool (and LOVES it)

~ Loves beings outside (We almost have grass/yard for him to play in-I will post pictures soon)

A Few Steps

Matthew took his first few steps today using his push toy. He is incredible! Pulls himself up on anything and everything. I did help him with the toy before I grabbed the camera but now this afternoon he grabbed onto it and pulled himself up.

Fingerprint Friday

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?

He is on the move!

He loves walking around furniture.

He was brave only once so far and let go.

He has had a few tumbles along the way.

See his attire-Yay that is getting to be a regular thing anymore. He loves to be in just his diaper. It makes it easier at meal time-no bib, no messy clothes and easy clean up.

You're probably wondering why the chair is laying on its side on the floor. Well it is blocking off the cat food dish. It was the only brainy idea we could come up with so that Matthew could not get the cat food. The cat has learned to jump over when she is hungry. But of course Matthew is smart and has even moved the chair to get to the cat food. He is intrigued with the cat. The cat only likes Matthew when he is sleeping because then he is not trying to crawl after her.

On the Move Videos

It is hard to believe that in just a week Matthew has learned to do an actual crawl, pull himself up and walk along furniture. It is exciting to see him do and learn so many new things but at the same time I am sad that he is growing way to fast. It seems like he was born just yesterday but he is almost 9 1/2 months old.

Look What Matthew Did Today!

Today Matthew was playing actually pulling the toys out of the basket!He turned and got on his knees for a better look!
Then pulled himself up to get an even better look inside!

He actually is standing at the toy basket by himself!
