Playing Outside

It's January!

It is beautiful outside!

This can't be Minnesota in January!

But it is!

We are loving it!

We played outside for a long time!

When we first went out, he didn't want me to take any pictures!

But I did anyway!

I thanked him when we went in for letting me take his picture and he said, "You're welcome Mama!

This new year is starting out great compared to how last year ended.

Matthew got his stitches out on the 2nd of January and his head is looking really good.

Another Dusting of Snow-November 20

We got another little dusting a few days later but it too didn't last either.

First Snow-November 15

On November 15, we got a little dusting of snow. As soon as Matthew woke up and seen it, he wanted to go outside. He wasn't even up 5 minutes before we headed outside in our jammies!  He had snowpants on so you couldn't really see his jammies.

It was all melted by the end of the day!

This has just been a crazy winter!  It's almost Christmas and we still don't have any snow!

I'm okay with that though.

It's hard to believe that Christmas is only a few days away. 

Playing Outside

Last week we played outside for awhile since it was so nice out.

Matthew actually wanted to look at the camera and smile.

He had fun!

Okay so we had a moment that was not so fun and he was mad about something!

Yes we have those moments in our house like everyone else.

I just usually don't share these moments but they do happen.

It was over within a few minutes and he was back to having fun!

He loved when Daddy came home and played outside with him for awhile too.

Playing in the Snow

Matthew and I played outside in the snow yesterday.

We had lots of fun!

We even shoveled the sidewalk.
The caretaker is suppose to shovel but I can't just walk on it and leave it so Matthew and I shoveled it.

It is kind of strange not having to take care of things.

I had fun taking pictures too! Seems like its been awhile.

Not sure why such a sober face.

This is what I got when I told him to smile!

Starting to get cold but he didn't want to go in.

He was having to much fun playing with his tractor in the snow!

He thought the tracks that it was leaving was pretty cool.

It took a lot of convincing but I finally got my cold baby inside.



First Snow of 2010

We got our first snowfall on October 27, 2010.

I was not prepared for it and Matthew was not happy with me.

I didn't have snow boots for Matthew and when I put on his winter coat, yep, you guessed it, it was to small but I had the snow pants!

So all Matthew got to do was put his hand in the snow outside of our patio door!

We are almost ready now!  All he needs is boots!

The snow melted rather quickly!
