Miscellaneous

Wow! What is with this weather?  Matthew and I have pretty much stayed inside to avoid this humidity.  On Thursday night after Scott got home and we had supper, we went to the beach.  Sorry I didn't take any pictures.  We were to busy swimming and trying to cool off.  We put Matthew in his life jacket to go out a little deeper.  He wasn't really crazy about the whole life jacket and how it made him feel like he was floating.  He was happy when we took it off.

Friday was a busy day.  Matthew got to spend the morning with daddy while my sister and I did a like garage saleing.  We didn't have much luck.  Grocery shopping on the other hand was a nightmare.  Early afternoon, we had a review with our financial adviser Dave (with Northwestern Mutual) about our life insurance, IRA's and money markets. He is awesome(what to learn more, click here).  To finish out our Friday, we went to Papa and Grammie's house so Scott could help Papa with a project.  I got all our laundry done!  What takes me 3 loads at their house, takes me 5 loads at our apartment.  We appreciate that they let us use their washer and dryer.  I think that is what I am missing the most.

I also did some sewing on Friday and Saturday. I made some cute little bags for the kids to use to collect candy from the parade. I will show you pictures with our Fourth of July pictures.  They turned out reallly cute!

Ever seen the movie, CARS by Disney?  That is Matthew's favorite movie.  He especially likes Mater.  I think we watch it almost daily.  Some days it's twice.
