Company

On Saturday, we had some company stop over.
Mamma (Matthew's birthgrandma, Anissa) and his aunt Carrin stopped over to visit for awhile.
Matthew loves having company.
Matthew is so busy that I think he wore Auntie Carrin out.
They were fixing things, building things and coloring.

Then he had to rest a bit.
He loves to when Mamma blows on the back of his neck.
He was even making the lip motions.
He loves to be tickled as he calls it.

He loves to be naked to!

Helping Mommy Make Cookies

One day last week, I decided to make cookies.
Matthew had a blast helping me.
We were not able to use his dough because he kept adding more and more flour and the cookies would not stick together.
Like his rolling pin?
We had to wash up and use his rolling pin from his play-doh because mine are still packed over in our storage garage.

Then after they were cooled, we frosted and decorated!
He also enjoyed eating them!

Funny

This really should have been before him putting the training wheels on since he is "reading" the directions on how they work.
I guess he thought it was great reading material!

New Bike

Scott got Matthew a "new" used bike.
We bought some training wheels and Matthew was helping Daddy put the training wheels on.
He had Daddy's tools scattered everywhere.
He loves to help his daddy.
Matthew still hasn't been able to figure out how to peddle the bike but he knows how to put the brakes on.
He likes to be pushed but as we are pushing, he brakes and stops us dead in our tracks.

House

We are sad!
Our offer was outbid by someone else.
I guess it was not meant to be.
So we continue to look!

Bunch of Randomness

We have had a crazy busy week and weekend.
We had lots of preparation for Scott's sister's wedding reception.
On Friday night, we spent 5 hours decorating the hall.
Saturday was the reception.
We were in charge of lots: punch, water, coffee, pictures, video recording, cleaning and then some fun.
Matthew had a great time playing with his cousin, Liam.

At the beginning of the week, Scott and I talked about starting Matthew wearing underwear all the time.  We always had him wearing underwear during the day except when we were going somewhere.
It was a tough weekend to start but he has had lots of success.
We had a small little accident on Friday night.
Saturday he did great all day but had a couple little accidents later in the night during the reception but has been dry ever since.

We are all tired today.
We didn't get home until about 2 am this morning and slept only until 9 am.

Matthew loves to sing.
Have you ever heard of Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi?
It's the theme song on Deadliest Catch!
I also have it as my sister in law's ring tone on my cell phone.
It is currently Matthew's favorite song and he loves to sing some of it.
He sings "I'm a Cowboy" and the next few lines.  Sorry I don't really know the words.
I had the camera in the truck with us the other day when he started to sing so I recorded him (I will post that when I get some time to download it) and when he realized I was recorded he shouted at me to STOP!

I know the pictures have nothing to do with any of the writings but he is so adorably cute that I just have to show you.
Hope everyone has a great week!

A Visit with Cousins

Not this last weekend but the weekend before we went to the cities to celebrate Scott's uncle's 80th birthday!
Matthew got to see his cousin, Logan.
These 2 little cousins are only 3 months and 5 days apart.  Logan is older.
They haven't seen each other for over a year but they became instant buddies.
They had a blast playing together.
Pictures on the other hand: one would look but the other wouldn't.
But here are a few cute ones:
They didn't want to speak no evil or hear no evil.  Hahaha!
Then it was time to go!
We also got to see this little honey!
I can't believe that she is almost 6 months old.  This is "baby" Lauren (as Matthew calls her).
Remember when she was first born.  Click here to see her first picture.
She was just a talking and cooing at me!
I loved every minute!

Playing Outside

Last week we played outside for awhile since it was so nice out.
Matthew actually wanted to look at the camera and smile.
He had fun!

Okay so we had a moment that was not so fun and he was mad about something!
Yes we have those moments in our house like everyone else.
I just usually don't share these moments but they do happen.
It was over within a few minutes and he was back to having fun!

He loved when Daddy came home and played outside with him for awhile too.

A Cousin's Baptism

At the beginning of March, we went to the baptism of this sweet little girl.
Her baptismal gown was beautiful and handmade by her grandma (which would be Scott's aunt).
This is Lauren.
Remember her from here.
Matthew loves his "baby" Lauren.
He always has to love her up whenever we see her.

More PIctures

Here's a few more pictures:
Can you see in these top 2 pictures the redness around this mouth and on his chin?
Whenever he eats Ranch dressing, he gets red blotches where the ranch was on his face.
It goes away within an hour after his face is washed.

Some Cuteness

I know that I have been a bad blogger lately.
I have to admit that I have been a bad photography lately too!
I finally convinced Matthew to let me take some pictures of him today!
Here is some of what I got:
(PS I told him to make funny faces at me)
