Swimming Pool

Yes Minnesota weather is crazy!  One day we are playing in the swimming pool trying to cool off and the next we are wearing pants and jackets.  This particular day was the swimming pool day.

These few pictures were actually taken on the same day as the last post.

He was filling his buckets with water out of another bucket that had collect rain water even though he was not suppose to.  I was just taking full advantage of him letting me take pictures that I pretended not to notice what he was doing.

I've been having a hard time getting Matthew to let me take some pictures of him.

When he does let me, I take full advantage of the situation because it doesn't happen often.

Usually he ends of mad at me because I take a few to many.

It's one of his favorites and gets worn a lot!

Must be the only one that he wants his picture taken in because I think the last several posts he has been wearing this shirt but the pictures have all been taken on different days.



Steam Engine

When Scott was young, his cousin, Mike, (Mike is also Scott's godfather) made him this steam engine.  Grammie and Papa found it a few weeks ago and sent it home with us.  Matthew wanted to fire it up right away so after bath time they fired it up.  Matthew and Daddy had a great time playing with the steam engine.

Frog Friend

We went fishing one afternoon back in April and Daddy caught a frog!

 I think he was trying to scare the frog because he was not afraid of the frog.

Back in April, we went to my nephew Austin's birthday party at Crosby Park.

Not sure what the face is for...probably because it wasn't his turn to go next at a game.

Target Fun

Matthew and I had a fun browsing day at Target today. This is what we found:

Cow Story

Matthew is a chatter box when he is on a four wheeler ride with his Daddy or his Papa. On Monday, while Matthew and Daddy were on a wheeler ride, Matthew told Daddy that hamburgers come from black cows and roast beef comes from white cows.

Swimming Pool

This Minnesota weather is crazy! It's only the middle of May and Matthew is already playing in his pool. It's already 79 degrees out! He even got warm water in his pool. Last year when we redid the plumbing, we put in a hot/cold water outdoor faucet!

Matthew loves playing at the park. Last week Thursday, we had a picnic and played at the park.

Long Time

Sorry that it has been so long since my last post!  I only have a couple minutes tonight so thought I would type a few words.  Hopefully on Saturday I can post some pictures from April and some so far this month.  Really not much happening around here.  At the beginning of the week, Matthew was not feeling very good.  He was running a fever and had lots of sneezing, a little cough and a slight runny nose and threw up once.  The only reason I like when he is sick because then he only wants to snuggle with his momma!  By Wednesday, fever was gone and he was feeling better.  But wow has he been grumpy the rest of the week.  I think he is missing dad.  Dad has been working LOTS of hours the last month but we get him for 3 whole days!!!!
