We finally got Matthew's birth certificate in the mail today. It was exactly 1 month ago today that we finalized Matthew's adoption. My how the time flies! I think that he is getting bigger by the minute.
He woke up from his nap today crying hard so I picked him up to soothe him and he just kept crying so I called Scott. I put it on speaker phone but as soon as Matthew heard it, he was quiet. He ended up falling back to sleep in my arms and is dreaming lots and snoring. What a funny boy!
It took us fifth months to get Amanda's birth certificate. Three of those months passed while MN was figuring out they couldn't send us a new birth certificate because she wasn't born in MN. Congrats! Only one more puzzle piece- a social security number. Go in and try to get if before you file your taxes if you haven't already.

ReplyDeleteIt took us about 3 1/2 months to get ours. They were way behind and we got it a short while after I called to inquire if it would get here before tax time! We are still rolling over some of Jakob's federal tax credit! ***sigh*** If only we got it all back at once. . . we could definitely start the process again! :0)
